i know this is a really late post on the bday celebration FOR sabrina.
but i thought i should like update on the class outings happenings so those who weren't there
knows what is happening in our class recently. SO YOU WILL STAY UPDATED! :D

okay. actually i didn't attend the gathering too cos i had something on.
ohwells, shall let the pictures do most of the talking.

YO PEEPS!!
It has been so long since anyone posted on this class blog. And its like so DEAD.
we should totally revive it! :D

i am not sure if anyone still visits this blog but i shall keep updating it since i am so free anyways.
All of you must be waiting for the GOLDEN LETTERS to arrive in your letterboxes. (this includes me of course)
before that some of us also have to go for the interviews too. and because of that most of us must be feeling the jitters. but don't worry! INTERVIEWS ARE JUST GET-TO-KNOW-YOU BETTER SESSIONS, so we should just be ourselves and leave the best impression for the profs and seniors. (i know this is easier said then done. ><)
ohwells, all the best to everyone, including those in NS. and goodluck for your interviews too!
may we all get to go into the course and unis that we want.

and come to think of it we should really have a class outing soon!
stay tuned. i will surely come out with a plan soon. hehe.
but don't try to pon the class outings if we have any okay.
the organisers will be hurt. :(

YAY! College clean up day is coming. -.-
hahas.

Attendance is COMPULSORY!
The reporting time is 3.30pm.
We will only be dismissed once everyone in the CG has completed their assigned tasks.
[ So if you finished your task early, help others so that we can be dismissed earlier. (: ]
NOTE: Latecomers and or early leavers will not be awarded the full CIP hours.

Our class has been assigned with Class 423 and 424 to clean up.

I've already assigned different tasks for everyone.
The class is divided into two groups, each group will proceed to clean up their allocated class on wed.

Group A ( Class 423)

2 to clean the windows, doors ----- Anwar and Joon Keat
2 to clean the walls------ Wei Jie and Shi Jie
1 to clean the teacher's table and chair, board and OHP---- Beatrice
3 to clean the tables and chairs and to rearrange the tables and chairs in pairs----- Rachel, Fiona, Jin man

2 to sweep and mop the floor in the classrooms---- Sabrina and Aisyah
2 to sweep and mop the corridor------ Lipin and Hazel

Group B (424)

Cleaning Tasks.

1. Tables and Chairs- scrub with green scrubbing-pad and wipe with moistened rags. remove graffiti if any
2. Window panels and ledge- wipe with moistened rags( after which, wipe with newspaper)
3. White board and ledge- wipe with moistened rags
4. waste baskets- empty all trash into black garbage bag
5. walls- wipe off footprints or marks with moistened rags
6. OHP cable and trolley- wipe with rag
7. Floor- sweep and mop. DO NOT pour water directly onto the floor.
8. Corridor- sweep and mop

i will brief the class on what to bring and who to bring what either on mon or tues. (:

Student Well-Being survey

Hello peeps!

You need to do the online Student Well-Being survey by 12 MAY (WEDNESDAY).
It is COMPULSORY for all of us to complete this survey.
Instructions can be found in the following picture.

The Student Well-Being Survey is conducted to help the College better understand the needs of students so that suitable intervention and programmes can be put in place.
It is stuructured to align with the Social Emotional Learning Framework where students' needs in 5 domains (ie self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship management and responsible decision-making) are surfaced.
The same survey will be administered next year to help them evaluate the effectiveness of the various programmes being put in place this year.

Basically the survey only wants to find out about our wellbeing. That's all~

Ok so here's the final final class tee design! Hope you all like it and if you have any suggestions can just tag in the tagboard (: After trying out different colour combinations, I think cream colour is the nicest one, so I just use that colour one to blend into the shirt...

This is the first one. The dinosaur teeth is white.

This is the second one, same design only that the dinosaur teeth I outlined with black lines. Which one you all think is nicer?

Ok next up is just some of the possible colour combi I tried...you all can see which one is the one you like the most...

Light Orange

Darker Orange

Grey

Cream

Light Blue

Ok so here's what you all have to decide:

Colour of the tee
Whether the teeth of the dinosaur needs to be outlined
Material of the tee (dry-fit/cotton/honeycomb which is somewhat like our polo tee)
And any other suggestions. Like the school logo I decided to put on the right sleeve because our shirt the pictures are concentrated more on the left side...

Hi Guys and Girls, here's the finalised version of the class tee! Made some amendments, including removing the school logo at the back, adding "temasek jc" in front and also erasing away the "tjc'09" which is supposed to be with the class logo. Hopefully this will be approved soon.

Back to school for Econs lecture. The lesson was supposed to end at 12pm but instead ended at 9.30am. So we decided to spent the long long time while waiting for GP lecture at 1.15pm.
Class breakfast at Bedok Macs(: And after that some girls went Tampines to shop, while the rest went Ehub for bowling!

This is yaoxiang wearing his "highlighter" jacket. Haha

What a nice post, yaoxiang.

Rushed back for GP lesson and we were late for 15mins. Hehs. But nevertheless, bowling was fun :D Next time all must go bowl ah! Cannot go there see see only hor. *hints to Jac Jac, Beatrice, Weijie, Shijie* LOL

After GP lesson was lunch cum dinner at Bedok Macs once again.

Greedy Joonkeat eat so many burgers :O

OK here's the latest set of colour codes for the class tee. Material is dry fit. Sorry for the trouble of asking you all to keep choosing. But if you all can, please state the shade of blue that is preferred. I think dont choose 13 (bottom left hand ccorner) that blue cause 28/09's class tee is that colour alrdy. Actually can decide between 6, 15 and 24.

After lunching, we went to JoonKeat's House!

Haha Syafiqah must be so excited. First time to a guys house!

We were so bored so meow, jacjac, act cool weijie, hyper-active yaoxiang, and the act-quiet shijie went down to play badminton~ Look at how yaoxiang plays badminton. Its very funny~ And there's jacjac trying to beat her 炸弹 (shuttlecock) at us. According to weijie, it travelled at 100m/s lol. She was too pro at her 炸弹 skill that we lost to her. Sad. Then weijie trying to hype us up by saying: "Eh可以enthu一点吗?", "Eh可以enthu一点吗?", "Eh可以enthu一点吗?" (multiplied by a hundred times). And lastly the shijie whom I don't know how to discribe. Haha.

Haha I like this photo the best. This is what the shuttlecock will become when yaoxiang's around! LOL (OOPS! Jookeat you aren't supposed to see this! =X)

Funny videos of yaoxiang playing badminton~ Sorry for the shaky video but the scene was too funny that I couldn't control my laughter!

After that went back to joonkeat's house to slack before heading to Sherry's house to Weee~ LOL i mean Wii.

We were laughing like crazy throughout the whole thing. Yay it was super fun, thanks sherry for letting us go your house! And not forgetting joonkeat too! (:

Anyway, here's a photo of the class tee colour. Its nice but there's only dry fit available. I'll see whether beatrice can find this colour at her supplier before deciding which one to choose. Currently for this supplier, its at tampines one and the shirts will cost arnd $20plus since our class is quite small la as compared to in secondary schools. What's your take?

Ok final version of the class tee. Please comment on it because we'll need to manufacture it soon! (:

This is the front. Something to take note is the school logo, either want it at the side, or at the back of the tee.

Ok here's the back of the class tee. Refer to school logo please comment which one is better/preferred)

Ok here's what we need to decide too.
1. Material - Cotton OR dryfit OR smooth-dryfit(I think this is the duathlon shirt - can see below for pic)
2. Round neck tee OR Polo tee
3. Colour - can see pictures below too and mb quote those that is nice. I think we should choose colours that are not so common as in other classes don't have it yet. (*Note: Pink is definitely out, and YELLOW got a prob bcos I found out that actually alot of classes/PDPs etc have yellow shirt already, example CG28/08 if I'm not wrong, climbing club, duathlon, gamma HC, and now the CAN! marathon shirt is also yellow.)
